Our first morning trip

Our 5th morning took us to visit a village where they grow and process manioc.

Our 6th day explored the other side of the Rio Negro and offered some different scenery.

On our 7th morning we explored the Lago Janauari Ecological Park where the brown water of the Amazon flows swiftly though the forest. We noticed more and different wildlife in this section, as well as more mosquitos...that don't breed on the Rio Negro, but do on the Amazon.
