Their first passport stamp!
We took them on a drive though the city
and Scott took a lot of photos from the car windows.
We stopped for lunch at the Westland Mall en route to Coronado. We had a medium family platter at Leños y Carbon . It was a hit.
On the way here we stopped at an over-look to see the view
out over the ocean and the mountains. We drove through Chica’ and turned on the
road to Altos del Maria and then back to the highway to Coronado. Visibility could have been better.....
We had gotten the key to their condo here at Coronado Bay
the day before and we got them settled in and told them to come up when they
were ready and we showed them around the building and how to access the
pools and the beach entry.

I had planned to cook dinner of Spicy Sesame Asian Chicken
Wings with Coconut Pineapple rice with cashews. The wings came out great,
however the rice never got tender. (at least not in time for dinner) So, we had
the wings with a Pineapple Habenero dip with some crackers that I had already
prepared to snack on.

We talked for a while and made the plans for tomorrows visit to El Valle.
