It's been crazy busy with getting the coach ready for when we are gone, numerous trips to storage in Port St. Lucie from Okeechobee. Have a car rented and our "toad" is now in Okeechobee with the coach.
The weather has been all over the place. From laying poolside to almost freezing temperatures.
I did manage to get out and snap a few shots of the nice murals in Okeechobee.
"Preserving and celebrating Okeechobee’s heritage by
depicting the rich history of our community and cultural heritage, our wildlife
and environment, and our various recreational and community activities (murals,
sculptures or related visual arts).
Okeechobee Main Street in conjunction with the City of
Okeechobee adopted the Okeechobee Main Street Mural and Visual Arts Program in
2006."
Veterans Memorial Park and Walls of Honor, Okeechobee, FL - This park contains a memorial for
Afghanistan, Vietnam and this combined memorial for World War I, II and Korea
We are now in Port St. Lucie at the Residence Inn until we leave for the cruise on Jan 24. Tomorrow, we will get serious about packing everything we have gathered together.
