June 17 Aerial Tram, Summit Zoo & back to Coronado

This morning we were up early to pack and get some last shots of the resort before going for breakfast.

This morning we met up for breakfast and then we were off for the aerial tram we had reserved the day before.

Compared to the one in Costa Rica it was a short ride on the aerial tram and then got off to walk a short path to a tower that we climbed and it had incredible views of the Indian Village, the Canal and what seemed like hundreds of parrots in the trees. We spent quite a bit of time up there and then boarded the aerial tram back to the station.

Back at the resort we gathered our luggage and checked out. We stopped at the Summit Zoo to see the Harpy Eagle and the other things there. We were quite disappointed that the Harpy wasn’t out in her large cage, but in a tiny one on the side that it was hard to see her. We did go into the exhibit there that we hadn’t done before and it was pretty nice. We had hoped to grab something to eat at the zoo, but there was one stand open and we just split an empanada since the kids weren’t hungry and were going to have more later. However, when we got back there later they were already closed. (like 1:00) Ah well. So, we stopped at a food court area near one of the schools and had a bite to eat before the drive back to Coronado.

That night we went to Cholo’s the Mexican food restaurant here. Everyone loved it.
Three of us played the game Cards Against Humanity while Greg got all of everyone’s photos put on our computer and on Scott’s Passport. We had just gotten a Go Pro and so we got a lot of practice shots. Scott had borrowed one as well from his stepson-in-law. So, with 2 Go Pros, and regular cameras being used by 3 of us, there were a TON of photos to go through.
We had nothing really planned for tomorrow except a "brunch" of my Bananas Foster French Toast and Scott wanted to go back to Carlito's for their empanadas.
