It was mostly cloudy and a touch cooler so walking the
track was quite nice.
It was Greg’s “turn” to win Bingo today for $40.00 (our
cumulative total is now $1,955) I have to mention that Basil is very good with
not only the Bingo, but all the games he moderates. I guess they gave up
teaching the Russians as I have not seen any of them doing any games.
The theme for this segments’ Sunday Brunch was Asian. The
executive chef was serving up “create your own soup” with your choice of broths
and Asian dumplings or other add ins to make it yummier. The Chef’s Special
broth delicious, slightly spicy and really tasty! I’d forgotten there was a
soup station until Tom came over and asked if I’d tried the soup as it was to
die for, so of course I had to go get some. Of course there was suckling pig,
duck, pastas, salads pates and more. Not to mention the killer dessert station.
By dinner we were all still pretty stuffed from the huge
brunch, but we managed to eat. Ha ha.
The show was a production number entitled Limelight. It
was songs from famous musicals. The ship was rocking a lot and they had to
cancel the late seating performance for the safety of the dancers. It was a
pretty good show despite the motion of the ocean.
There was Hollywood Movie Musicals Trivia and I think we
got 4 out of the 40. Yikes, they were from really old musicals. You got a point
for knowing the name of the song and another point if you knew the movie.
Tonight we set our clocks back another hour which always
takes the sting out of getting up early for touring the next day.
We are excited for a new port to explore tomorrow!
