March 11, 2013 Sea Day

Sun Glorious Sun! So nice to wake up to bright sunshine today. Seas are back being calm. We have had a few days of rough waves. One day our mini fridge’s door opened up and out came all our cans and bottles! Went for breakfast and then went to Tai Chi and then walked out on deck 10.
After that we went to deck 11 to tan. We skipped the dining room today to eat the French Buffet. Yummy! Then, we grabbed lounge chairs by the pool to watch the Symbolic Crossing the Equator Ceremony. Only 1 passenger volunteered this time. I suspect that most all of the people on board have already crossed the equator many times. King Neptune and Queen Mermaid officiated. Since the deck party was canceled due to rain and wind a few nights ago, they added live music prior to the ceremony. The pollywogs and to kiss the fish and were smeared with various foods and drinks. One got an entire cake in the face.
Then, we rushed downstairs to get seats in the show lounge to watch Carol sing in the Princess Pop Choir. This time the theme was Aussie songs. Carol looked pretty and the group sang very well. A good time was had by all.
Trying to get caught up today with the blog entries. Tonight’s show is an encore performance with the vocalist Donna Campbell doing regular songs. (she did Dolly Parton last time)
