Sea Day - January 19

We have been continuing along the Baja Peninsula towards the border between Mexico and USA. We passed Sebastian Vizcaino Bay. This large bay falls on the border between Baja California Norte and Baja California Sur.

Today we went to a culinary demonstration by the Executive Chef Amedeo and the Maitre D’Hotel Oscar. Oscar is a clown and made a very fun show. After that we all went down for a Galley Tour.

this was the "joke" Black Forest Cake by Oscar - while it doesn't look bad it had anchovies and about everything else in the world that shouldn't be in a cake.
the real one by the chef

Lunch at the buffet featured a beautiful dessert display since it’s the first segments last one before they disembark.

Baked Alaska on Parade after dinner tonight. We also had to say goodbye to 2 couples at our table. They were very enjoyable table mates.

The show tonight was a return of Branden & James with an entirely new show featuring the cello and vocal performances. They are a very fun and talented duo.

Tonight we got an extra hour of sleep as we set our clocks back another hour.

Tonight is the last day of the first segment and many of the passengers will be leaving and many new will join tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing lots of friends from the 2013 World Cruse and excited to meet new ones!
