February 10, 2013 Sea Day

Princess had another wonderful Sunday brunch today. No lobster claws this time, but lots of wonderful things to choose from. They said every Sunday that is a sea day they will have one. Very nice! Today is 2 weeks into our cruise. 14 days is the longest we have been at sea in the past.

I walked this morning and we went to the other port lecture on Easter Island. In the afternoon I got a bit of sun before a few sprinkles and clouds brought me in.
Tonight’s dinner was a special menu for Chinese New Year. Greg had the Peking Duck and I had Tempura Tiger Prawns. The show was Donny Ray Elvins, a singer that did a tribute to Nat King Cole. Very enjoyable…or should I say “Unforgettable”.

After the show we went out on deck to see the sunset (we are pretty far south so it is setting later.) The star gazing was fantastic with views of the Southern Cross, Jupiter and the Milky Way.
Marianne was able to get our tender stickers for Easter Island. We have a private tour and were hoping to get us all off at the same time. Hopefully, all will go well. Tender tickets are first come first served unless you have a ship’s tour and they get priority. Their tours start later, so we should be able to get off before they need to start loading theirs.
We have the best cabin stewardess. Her name is Rungnapa and she is from Thailand. Just a wonderful woman and she works very long hours, but always has a smile and greets us in the hall. Our waiter is Antonio from the Philippines and the assistant waiter Eric is from the Ukraine.
Another sea day tomorrow! Whoo Hoo!
