May 10, 2013 Sea Day

Wow, did I sleep last night! This morning we had nice scenic cruising through the Dardanelles Strait into the Aegean Sea. There were a couple of WWI memorials.

 

I meant to go to the Tippi Heddren lecture, but got wrapped up in updating the blog. We went to lunch in the dining room and sat with some friends we hadn’t seen in a while. There was also a new couple that joined in Dubai.

After lunch we went to see a production show called Cinematastic which we had seen before, but they were doing it again for people who just joined and didn’t see it. After that there was a port lecture on Athens and Kotor.

That pretty much took us right up until dinner. It was nice to get caught up with the 2 people that aren’t on tours with us. After dinner we went to see the show with Donovan & Rebecca billed as Adagio/body balancing. They are a 3 time Guinness Record Holding acrobatic and musical act.

Wow, what a fantastic show! He had a wonderful tenor voice and they both performed graceful balancing routines.

Then, back to the room to get things ready for Athens tomorrow.
