Nice to
sleep in a bit. After breakfast we went up on deck 11 to get some sun. Then, it
was time to shower and head to the Pub Lunch. We got seated with the people
that showed up at our Cruise Critic M&G and complained they were “promised”
4 formal nights only to find out there are only 3. They seemed to think because
on a 7 day cruise you have 2, there should be at least 4 on this one. They
joined a segment of a world cruise and it’s about a month long, but there are
only the Welcome aboard for the new people, the Meet the Captain for the new
people and then the final Farewell which are all formal. So, only 1 would be
needed if new people hadn’t joined. But, of course we said none of that and
mentioned Cunard since even casual nights require a jacket. Way too much
trouble after a long hot port day.
Back to the
room to catch up on the blog. Then we went to the afternoon lecture on
Jerusalem. Worked on the blog some more. Uploaded tons of pictures from the
past 4 days. Then went to dinner and got caught up with our tablemates that
weren’t on tour with us. Everyone seemed to really have enjoyed there tours.
The show
tonight was Comedy Showtime with Rod Long and the Princess Show cast did a
number before and after his routine. He was one of the funniest comedians so
far, IMHO. We came back to the cabin and later went up to the Arabian Nights
Deck Party. Lots of people dressed in the various outfits they have bought in
port. Lots of singing and dancing and they had a buffet with mostly desserts.
Then it was
to bed for an early wakeup to watch the transit of the Suez Canal.
