Sea Day –  Happy Easter! - April 16

Happy Easter!

I won the first game at Bingo today for $30. It’s been a while since I have won. I was 1 away on all but the coverall where I was a couple away. Our collective total is now $2,420.50.

Today we had a huge Easter Brunch. There was lamb, ham, salmon, veal, a stir-fry station and of course loads of other foods like various meats, cheeses, fruits, salads, seafood and a huge dessert spread.
These photos were taken in the evening displaying the Easter decorations in the Atrium

It’s another formal night and they did a special Easter Dinner tonight. We were going to skip it, but saw that for the first time this cruise they offered King Crab Legs. So, we dressed up to go eat crab. What a disappointment! They were tiny pieces of skinny legs with hardly any meat. It was barely enough to have as an appetizer, much less a dinner. Ah well……

There was another Champagne Waterfall and instead of putting fruit in each champagne glass they used quail eggs and colored “Easter Eggs” in the lower ones. Not sure it worked as well, but it was pretty.

The show tonight was Dave Heenan. Nothing funny about his act which was tired OLD jokes with bad delivery. Oh, and the good news is that he is performing at least one more time for our transatlantic crossing.

Not sure if I mentioned before that we lost our Cabin Steward Joel (his contract was up and he got to go home for a while for some much needed rest and to see his family) just before Venice and now we have Menino from India. He is pleasant and does a great job as well with the cabin.

Tomorrow we gather around the pool area for the group photo for all of us that are on the full World Cruise.
