Sea Day - Whales, Dolphins & Albatross.... Oh My!!

Tuesday February 20

Greg was up for the sunrise and saw a penguin in the water and saw several whales and dolphins. I saw a few from the balcony and at breakfast we saw numerous whales and dolphins "performing". We are also seeing a lot of Black-browed and Royal Albatross.

Once a month while at sea they need to have everyone attend again, so we did that this morning. I got down to 1 number on the final bingo, but still no luck.

We had a relaxing afternoon and I got out more cold weather clothing in case we can make port in Stanley, Falkland Islands (Islas Malvinas). Cool and very windy is predicted, but we do hope it is safe enough to operate the tenders to visit Volunteer Point to see penguins.

The entertainment tonight was Dan Delgado Horn of Plenty Trumpeter & Vocalist. We have seen him before and he's entertaining. We do wonder how we can manage to see so many of the same entertainers. How small of a talent pool do they choose from?

Off to bed early for a 5:30 wake up call to get our tender tickets. The ship only has 4 tenders that hold about 90 people each to get the entire ship ashore and the tender ride in is about 30 minutes. The excursion is an all day one and the tour guide requested we try to be on the first tender.
