This was our first Sunday at Sea and we were hoping for a Sunday Brunch like they did on the Pacific Princess. It wasn't announced, but someone that was at our dinner table last night has food allergies and has to set his menu the day before so the chef can prepare special food or recommend items on the existing menu that will work for him, was told that there was a Sunday Brunch and he couldn't get him a menu for that. So, we got excited for a big blow out of a Brunch. It really was nothing special. It had a menu with less stuff on it than normally is served for lunch or breakfast. (weird items and honestly not all that good IMHO)
We missed Bingo as Brunch took so long to serve. We crossed the equator overnight and today we had the King Neptune Ceremony. Here was another thing that was not managed well (much like the chaos of Devil's Island crowds). They didn't take up the deck sun loungers and people lined them up around the rail so only they could see it. To stand behind them put you too far back to see anything. (Several feet...) Then, to make matters worse, when it started they stood up. It seemed more "formal" than most we have seen, but it's always fun to watch. The captain and his crew all jumped in the pool at the end.
Tomorrow, we visit Fortaleza, Brazil.
