Sea Day – March 29

Sea Day – March 29

The seas calmed this morning, but by afternoon was bumpy again. (still not that bad) I walked the track and it felt good to be outside in the sunshine. The weather is getting cooler.

I won the last game of Bingo for $70.00 today. They are holding the final Bingo when many of us will be off the ship on our over-lands. Ah well….. They had the choir sing today and the ukulele group yesterday. They however did not think about having the final today before many of us get on in Durban.

Lunch at the buffet today was interesting. There was an entire section of various meats (balls or disks in different sauces. Quite tasty. Normally, it’s pretty boring up there.

The confusion continues on where to meet and what time tomorrow morning. The latest change is that due to tidal conditions we will arrive 45 minutes later tomorrow. Princess has been good about contacting anyone on an over-land. (Princess and Independent tours) So, now we are meeting at 7:45 instead of 7:00. Princess even said we could make free phone calls from the front desk to call our safari operators.

We had dinner in the dining room and got caught up with Roy & Rondi. They know we will be gone for several days and we probably won’t see each other until the day after the final day in Cape Town.

Tonight’s entertainment was an encore show by Adam Westcott the flamenco guitar guy. While I respect his skills, it really was a bit of a snooze.

We set our clocks back another hour so we will be on South Africa time tonight.

We are very excited about going on safari again! So, it may be quite a while before I post again. We will have only 1 day and then 2 more ports in Namibia, so I probably won’t get caught up until then.
