April 1, 2013 Sea Day

April Fool’s Day!

Another beautiful sunny and hot day! There are lots of junk boats to be seen today. We got a couple hours of sun before going to the Sunday Easter Brunch being held today Monday. (since we had a long port day yesterday) Lots of wonderful unusual fruits, smoked salmon, stuffed quail and risotto, broiled shrimp with gratin, lamb, ham, and much - much more! Desserts were spectacular as usual with the addition of the large Easter eggs that have been around the ship (huge display on deck 5 in the atrium area) that had been broken up. Chocolate covered bananas and a chocolate mousse cake that was very good. Of course there were lots of other choices as well.

We are relaxing in the cabin this afternoon opting to skip all the activities. Lots of pictures to work on.
Tonight’s entertainment is David Knight a comedy Hypnotic Show.
The afternoon flew by and before we knew it, it was time to meet upstairs for the cocktail hour. Carol just became platinum on this segment and she had never been. So she met us and Marianne for the Guacamole and salsa and those yummy margaritas. She didn’t seem that impressed. It’s really not a big deal, but it is nice that Princess does a few extra things for their most traveled passengers. We then all headed down to dinner. The dinner didn’t set well with me and we decided to skip the hypnotist. Plus, we have another early 5:00 wake up tomorrow for our tour. UGH!
We are very excited about Bangkok, Thailand tomorrow. Now if I could just get that Murray Head Song out of my head….”One Night in Bangkok, makes a hard man humble….”
