Sea Day - March 10

Sea Day - March 10

It felt good to sleep in this morning. There was another Sunday Brunch today with an “Oriental” theme. So, I got in a shorter walk today, so we could do that early and still make Bingo. We sat with Kris, Andrea and a couple of their friends. They had a lot of fruits from the region and lots of other delights. Desserts were even a bit different with a few of the “usuals” tossed in.

We were to leave a copy of the ETA visa we got for Sri Lanka, but I must have thrown them away when I tossed the used ones for Australia. (they are linked to your passport and I didn’t think I’d need it) Greg went down and got them reprinted since the ship wanted them.

Greg won 3 out of the 5 bingos. He split 2 with others that also got a bingo. So, he won $100 total today. I still am on my losing streak. After Bingo we went back for some more chocolate covered bananas on the buffet and sat with Horst.

Yesterday I got a call from the customer relations desk about my private tour in Sri Lanka. The tour company was trying to get clearance from the port authorities and the port authorities had 4 names that weren’t on the ship (previous cancelations). We got that cleared up.

We have just started to go through photos from the past 5 days.

We had the table to ourselves again as Rondi & Roy were invited to sit with customer relations person. (as we did with the future cruise consultant) The other couple opted to eat upstairs. We got done so quickly that we made the early show, so we had more time to work on photos. The show tonight was fun. It was a harmonica duo named Aiden & Evelyn. They are a young married couple that are world champions. They were very talented and a joy to watch.

We got to set the clock another hour back tonight for the extra hour of sleep. We’ll have another time change before we reach Sri Lanka.

Two more sea days to relax!
