Sea Day – March 12

Sea Day – March 12

I walked the track and had planned to do some pool time, but I ran out of time. (overslept and then chatted too long at breakfast)

Greg won twice at Bingo again. He had to split both with other people that won, so only $35.00. You may notice, I’m still not winning….

Tonight, was another formal night. Another one of those that there is no “reason” like a Captain’s party or anything. We checked out the menu and it didn’t have anything worth dressing up for, so we ate upstairs at the Bistro. It has a limited menu, but you can go any time and be casual as well.

The show tonight was a production show called Talk of the Town. Not a new show for us, but a good show non the less. Everyone is great except the female singer.

We were supposed to have had a half an hour time change tonight, however they decided to not do that, so the ship and Sri Lanka were on different times. They didn’t announce it, but it was in the Patter. So, I got on the phone and called our tour mates to let them know we could meet a half an hour later. One tour mate told me he had already gotten the time change card on the bed and minutes later the cabin steward came in and took it back.

Early to bed for our early start in Sri Lanka.

**in response to Marianne’s comment on one of my blog posts, Princess did not state a reason for the change of ship to the Island Princess for the 2021 world cruise. They did assure everyone that the Pacific was not going away. (maybe they are waiting to see how the Island does)

We did choose a cabin and reserved it for when it goes on sale. We said any of the 4 aft facing out balconies on the Baja deck. If they are not available, we will choose another balcony cabin towards the aft. (since our flooding issues were towards the front of the ship.
