Sea Day – March 27
I got a bit later start this morning since I slept in, but
it was nice to walk the track in the lovely sunny morning, I’m still having
tummy issues which I imagine is due to my malaria meds, but it helps to eat
some crackers or something. I’ve used the same meds before with no issues, but
this time it decided to kick my butt.
Greg won $40 at Bingo this morning. We ate lunch upstairs
since the dining room didn’t sound appealing to me today.
Dinner got caught up with our tablemates since we haven’t
seen them in a couple of days.
Tonight, was a new show with Trevor Knight doing a John
Denver show. It was “OK”.
2 more sea days to prepare for our overland. I got an email
saying that one of our flights the airline had grounded their planes. Sun
Safari booked another airline and we needed to pay the light difference in
cost. (probably the grounded Boeing 737’s) We took care of that (as did Charlie
& Harriet). It’s about an hour later than the other flight, but no issues
with that at all. Then, the front desk called to ask what time we needed to
disembark in Durban. I said as soon as we can as our tour starts asap. She said
that they were gathering all overland people (independent as well as theirs) to
meet in the Cabaret Lounge to get us off first. Harriet & I were going to
meet in the Casino Lounge, but the lady said we would get off faster by meeting
in the Cabaret to get the priority disembarkation. That sounds great, we’ll see
how it works in reality.
We got to set our clocks back tonight for that extra hour.
We will have one more of those before Durban.
Sorry you felt lousy from the meds. Hope you felt better once on land.
