Sea Day - March 16

Sea Day - March 16

We woke to pouring rain and thunder. We got very lucky with our weather yesterday since we had rain the day before and now the day after. No walking the track in this mess. I decided to forgo walking inside as well trying to get caught up on photos. Plus, I have a nagging bit of a raw throat that started yesterday. It seems another round of the crud is going around the ship. Hopefully, I’ll get through this without getting sick.

Cathy & Tom gave us another bingo card that they won from the trivia question on the Wake Show. Neither one of us won on any of the cards.

We ate upstairs at the buffet since the dining room didn’t appeal to us and the last 2 times the Pub Lunch wasn’t that great. It didn’t list a theme, but it did have an Asian theme.

I had planned to work on photos today and get the blog updated with text, but I wasn’t feeling great and took a long nap.

We got ready for dinner and got caught up with Roy & Rondi. They almost came to dinner last night, but we didn’t figure we were going to be there since our tour was supposed to run later and they decided not to come since they didn’t want to eat alone. We only decided on a lark to check out the menu since we got back early and when it looked so good that we decided to go. (and ate alone)

It continued to rain most all of today.

The show tonight was an encore performance by the Piano Brothers.

Then back to the room to watch a movie and relax.

Two more sea days until the Seychelles.

Tomorrow, they are having another Sunday Brunch for St. Patrick’s Day.

  1. I am loving following your Blog. We are booked on the 2020 World LA to LA. We did the 2015 and are so excited to do it again. I am certainly living vicariously through your adventures. You are stopping at many of the same ports as the 2020. We live in Hawaii, but will fly to LA to start the World. I appreciate all the effort you put into sharing your knowledge and exciting excursions. Wish we were with you now, Aloha, Mary
