Sea Day – March 20
There have been quite a
few Flying fish to keep me amused while I walk the track. A couple of days ago
there was a huge pod of dolphins leaping in and out of the water that I watched
from the balcony. One morning in the pool I was chatting with 2 other people
and the Captain announced a small pod of dolphins on the port side. We all gave
it about a half a second of thought and then decided it was too much trouble to
get out of the water to maybe see a small pod of dolphins.
I finally won bingo for
the first time in a long time. I won the first game for $30.
The lunch buffet had an
Australian Pie theme, so we ate there instead of the dining room.
We got caught up with
Roy & Rondi on our days in the Seychelles at dinner.
The evening
entertainment was Adam Westcott playing flamenco guitar. He was good, but he
kind of made you want to fall asleep to it.
I had hoped to upload
photos since we were in port until 10:00 last night, but our phone carrier
wasn’t getting much if any cell service in the Seychelles. So, they will have to
wait. Getting low on minutes……
We got the Patter
tonight only to find out the 1 hour we were supposed to gain before Madagascar
wasn’t going to happen. Captain JP decided AGAIN to not match shore time and
stay on ship time. So, I contacted our tour guide to let them know to pick us
up an hour earlier than we had scheduled based on the fact that normally
Princess always matches shore time. It was listed on the sheet they gave us at
the beginning of the segment, and yet they don’t feel the need to even mention
the change. We just noticed it wasn’t in the Patter and there was no card left
on the bed to remind us to set the clocks back an hour. Greg went down to ask
the front desk and they confirmed that “the bridge” decided not to do the time
change.
One more sea day before
Madagascar.
