Sea Day – March 14
I walked the track and cooled off in the pool talking to
Allison. It seems Princess had some issues on their tours as well with not
seeing what was listed. It made me feel a bit better about our mess of a day
yesterday.
There were 2 sessions of Bingo today since they were
awarding the final prize no matter how many numbers it took. ($810) Neither of
us won in the morning or the afternoon session. 5 people called Bingo on the
final, so they split the $810. One of the 5 had bingo earlier and didn’t
realize it so they missed winning it all.
We had lunch at the buffet since it had an Indian theme.
There were a few tasty items, and some were even a bit spicy. Yum!
This afternoon it poured buckets of rain. It looked like
fog out there it was so white.
We got caught up with 2 of our tablemates at dinner. They
had a few surprises on their Princess tour as well. (they had trouble getting
out of the port on the Princess bus) So, I do feel a bit better about our mess,
but I still gave the owner a negative email about our day and Greg wrote a not
great TripAdvisor review of Sri Lanka by Car.
The evening entertainment was interesting. It was Monique
Dehaney, born in Jamaica and she lived in Japan for a number of years. She had
an interesting story about her life and she was upbeat and fun. She sang some
jazz, Funk, Reggae and Soul.
Tomorrow, we visit Male, Maldives.
