seriously?
The spaces are quite long, but the space we were given was the hardest one we have ever had to get into. It had a terrible angle with a large tree to navigate around and the spaces are lined with wood timbers that made it impossible to get in without running over the huge berm piled up around the tree or the wood. They are pull-throughs and those generally are really easy to navigate. Greg got it in, but it wasn't easy! Some parks require that you be escorted by them but this wasn't one of them.So far only 2 or 3 have escorted us. The park we just left was easy to back into except there was a cut off tree trunk at the end of it which could have caused a problem. This was one of the parks that escorted us and he was directing Greg from the front. I'm at the back watching him nearly run over the stump which would have then dropped the coach into a ditch. Normally, I'd be navigating him, but he was watching the escort and not me. We normally have each other on cell phone so we can talk besides the hand signals. I'm yelling and gesturing to stop and he finally saw me and stopped just in the nick of time. The stump could have taken off the tow bar. Worse yet, we could have ended up with the back end in the ditch. YIKES!
Anyway, we are here and we went for a walk around the grounds. There are a ton of long term people here. We are up front again as that seems to be where they put the short term people. The ones staying even less time (Like 1 night) are farther up front. Most have left their toads hooked up so they can go quickly the next day. We may have some of that next year when we are traveling with more of a purpose, but we are taking it slow this year.
