Amalia Glacier, Chile (Scenic Cruising)

Monday February 26

Our losing streak with Bingo continues.

We spent most of the afternoon in the solarium watching the coastline/islands and reading. About an hour or so before approaching the glacier we went to the Horizon Court and grabbed a table by the window so we could watch the scenery and later have dinner.

It was beautiful to see the blue colors of Amalia Glacier. We were surprised there wasn't more wildlife. Normally, most of the small ice has sea lions on them, but we only saw one. We did get to see two small deer called Huemul.

The captain turned the ship so everyone got good views of the glacier and spent a couple of hours there. The ship sent out a small boat to get photos and to pick up a piece of the ice to bring back on the ship.

Wymulle, a small deer - they were very far away

The show tonight was Maestro Rogerio Tutti an exellent piano entertainer. We then went to watch the game show Who's the Cuckoo?"

Yea, another sea day tomorrow!
