Sea Day

Wednesday March 7

Neither of us won bingo though we both stood for one game. (one number away)

Tonight is another formal night and the entertainment tonight is a production show called What the World Needs Now. The menu in the dining room was uninspiring so we didn't dress formal and ate at the buffet.

This will be the last post before we go on our over-land off the ship so here's what we will be doing:

In Pisco we are doing a plane flight over the Nazca Lines (geoglyphs) and a boat tour around Ballestas Islands in hopes of seeing the Humboldt Penguins and other wildlife. Then, we will be driven to the airport in Lima where we will go to Puno for our 2 night 1 day tour of the Floating Islands of Uros on Lake Titicaca. We will take a really early morning flight to arrive back in Lima to board the ship by lunch time.

Very excited about this trip and hopefully it will go better than our tour in Coquimbo that Jaime set up. Donna emailed to complain about the tour and after our return in Lima I will email my displeasure as well. He said he is looking into it and will get back to her. We really didn't appreciate being grouped with a large group when we booked a private tour for 5. We'll see how he responds....

Will post again after our return to the ship.
