Sea Day

Sunday March 18

We have just over a week left of our journey and thoughts turn to packing. All of the cold weather clothing is packed, but I wanted to pull it all out and organize it better. Then, work out a weeks worth of clothes and pack the rest. We have today and tomorrow at sea (tomorrow is Panama Canal) so will work on it then. OK, no packing was done as I spent most of the time sleeping off this sinus thing.

Tonight's entertainment was Noybel Gorgoy, a vocalist from Cuba. We have never seen so many people walk out of a show. We stayed up until the end and ducked out as well. The entertainment manager went out just ahead of us. We overheard him doing another of his "the customer is always wrong" tactics as several people stopped to complain about the show. He says well at least 10 people have come up to me so far to say just how much they loved the show. (he walked out just ahead of us so, not sure who those 10 people were??) Doesn't matter, maybe he needs to learn a response like, "I'm sorry she wasn't to your taste." I'm sure there were people who did like her, but she wasn't very good at singing or playing the piano.

We lost an hour of sleep tonight and will lose another after Cartagena. That should get us caught up.
