Sea
Day – January 16
Our
day started with our usual sea day routine of Greg goes to the gym and then
comes back and gets me for breakfast and then I walk the track for an hour. We
come back to the cabin and shower and go to Bingo. Greg won the last Bingo that
was $70, but 2 other people also had a Bingo, so it was split 3 ways so each
winner only got $24.00. (they round up)
We
had lunch upstairs (neither the dining room or the buffet had that much I was
interested in. Just one of those days.
I
updated the blog and we watched a movie. It was good, but I don’t remember it’s
name.
Just
as we were going to dinner the Captain came on the intercom to inform us that
due to bad weather between here and LA, we would have to cut Puerto Vallarta
short by 2 hours. Instead of departing at 2:30, it was now 12:30. Our arrival
was for 7:00a. (that didn’t change) I immediately emailed the tour company to
see if they could start the tour earlier than 8:00 as previously planned.
Dinner
tonight was just 3 of us. (the other 3 ate a late lunch and weren’t hungry.)
The
show tonight was an encore presentation with Ric Steel doing a different show.
He really is quite entertaining even if country music isn’t your thing.
Tonight,
they had a Mexican Fiesta in the lounge upstairs, so no trivia tonight. We went
upstairs to use the internet (faster than in the cabin) and the tour company
responded that they would try but probably wouldn’t be earlier than 7:45. I let
the group know and we agreed to meet at 7:00 in hopes that some locals had
trinket stands set up. We didn’t stay for the fiesta as we had an early get up
time.
Tomorrow
we visit Puerto Vallarta.
