Sea Day – January 25

Today was warmer than yesterday and I was able to walk the track in my short yoga pants instead of the long ones. A front is supposed to come through and cool off again and maybe rougher seas later.

We both were lucky at Bingo today. I won $40 and then Greg won the last one; but had to split it with one other person so his was $40 instead of $80.00.

We had lunch in the dining room and sat with people we met in 2017 and another couple. We just found out that when we lose our Captain in Sydney and he is being replaced with JP, the same Captain we had in 2017. So, both Captains on this trip will be good. We also learned that JP now has a young son (less than a year) and Sienna which was on part of the trip with him in 2017. She must be around 4 years old now.

Tonight, we have our first production show since leaving LA and it’s a new show for us called Red Hot & Blue with the Belinda King dancers. To top the troupe that left the ship in LA they would have to be very good. It was a new show and it was a bit off. The lead singers aren’t as good as the ones that left. Hopefully, when they do familiar routines they will be more together.

The evening trivia was Fact or Fiction. We played; but didn’t do well enough to win.

Very excited to make Hawaii this time since it was canceled in 2017.

We have an early arrival tomorrow, so will need to be up at the crack of dawn…or before…..
