Sea Day - February 10

During the day, we continued our Westerly course through the Tasman Sea towards Sydney. The Tasman can be rough, but it has been pretty calm for us.

I walked the halls (it was still not great weather for the track) while Greg went to the Sydney port lecture. We are docking as far as can be from where the heart of the city is, so they have a free shuttle to get there.

We both had hair appts at 11:00 and since I also needed color we got a late lunch in the dining room.

We received our Sydney immigration forms and we got those filled out. They had our time to come down to meet with immigration at 9:20. We had hoped to be off by 8:00, so we went down to passenger services and got it for an earlier time.

It was a formal night so we got dressed up for dinner. The couple from the night before took us up on our offer of sitting at our table permanently. The head of the dining room officially OK’d it. They are a fun couple that have traveled extensively, so a good addition to our table.

Tonight’s production show was Motor City, which is one of my favorites. (I’m a Motown kinda girl) We are really going to miss the dancers as they are really good. Especially Michael and McKenzie.

After the show, we got a call from the passenger services manager saying we were given the wrong immigration forms and could we come down anytime between 7:00a and 8:00p to get the correct ones. We are getting off the ship in Sydney for 4 nights and rejoining the ship in Cairns and they neglected to us the correct forms.

1 more Sea Day until Sydney!
