We went to Bingo today for the first time since they started
the pot over. Greg won for the first time on the entire cruise. He won $50! It
brings our collective total to $280. (no, still not ahead of the cost of
playing….)
At lunch today we sat with one couple we see quite often and
met another new couple. The weather has turned gray and a bit rainy. There’s
supposed to be star gazing tonight, but not unless these clouds clear out. We
have seen the Southern Cross a couple of times on this trip just being up on
deck even without all the lights off.
Greg went to a Wine tasting after lunch and I worked on
pictures and updating the blog.

The show tonight was a Buddy Holly Tribute called “Buddy’s
Back!” It was a packed house for the show and it was a fun show.
The Game Show tonight was Musical Bingo. (musical trivia and
as you mark off names of songs in the right pattern you win!) They play the
song and you have to recognize it and then mark your card if you have it. It
was a new game and it was fun. The only thing that could have improved the game
would have been a longer length of time before moving on to the next song. It
took a while to read the song title in each square and there wasn’t time before
we moved on.
Well, the Musical Bingo was fun until a couple came and
stood right in front of us so we couldn’t see the screen that showed the names
of the songs if you didn’t know them about 3 songs after you heard it. His wife
moved when asked to move so we could see the screen. The man stood his ground
and refused to move and started mouthing off about how arrogant we were. Didn’t
we know he paid as much as we did to be on this cruise and on and on. I said so
that gives you the right to stand in front of the screen and block our view? He
finally did move back to the bar where his wife was, but kept coming back and
mouthing off. The couple that normally sits behind us at the game shows went to
get the cruise director to intervene. So, Frank came over to ask what was going
on. We thanked him for intervening, but as we were leaving the lounge the guy
was out there and still yelling at us. Then, the couple behind us came over and
said they called Frank over since the guy was being such an ass. We thanked
them.
We set our clocks back another hour tonight. Whoo Hoo
another hour of sleep!
