Sea Day – January 28

You guessed it; we are still on our South-Southwesterly course through the Pacific Ocean towards Bora Bora. To the Southeast is Nuku Hiva the largest of the Marquesas Islands in French Polynesia. We also passed over The Mariana Trench in the western North Pacific which is the deepest point in the world reaching a depth of 35,797 feet.

Today our passports were collected as the ship will need to present them to the immigration Authorities of French Polynesia.

After breakfast, we walked the track and got some sun.
We skipped Bingo again. (to walk the track & get some sun)

We had lunch at the buffet since it was Asian again. It was better this time for me with better choices. The spring rolls were pretty good, but not as good as your eggrolls Francine!

We had a new couple at our dinner table last night, so we now have a full table for 8. They should be an interesting addition to the group.

The show tonight was an encore performance of John Bressler the musical comedian and he again gave a great performance on the piano.

After the evening entertainment, in celebration of the Chinese New Year there was a deck party poolside with a Champagne Waterfall. We chatted with a Cruise Critic friend Vicki from Juneau that I have been emailing a lot with prior to the cruise. It was fun catching up with her.

One more sea day until Bora Bora!
