Sea Day – February 18

Today we passed through Louisiade Archipelago into the Salomon Sea. The Louisiade Archipelago is a string of 10 larger volcanic islands frequently fringed by coral reefs and 90 smaller coral islands, between the Solomon Sea to the North and the Coral Sea to the South.

Bingo went better today. Simon wasn’t there and another guy was there and a much better teacher for the same Russian guy. He actually called so slow the crowd asked him to speed up a bit. He was teaching so I think he was going slow to explain things. The Russian guy called a game and did much better, though you could tell he was very nervous. The dancers are first rate and obviously they have not been trained to do the fluff work that the usual Princess Dancers do such a good job with. Greg won the coverall for $60.00
We had a nice lunch with a new couple that joined in Sydney and another couple we have eaten with frequently.
La Forza had an encore show tonight with all new songs. They really are very good. We are still working on video and photos and will get them us as fast as we can.

We came back to the room to get ready for our day in Rabaul, Papua New Guinea tomorrow!
