Wow,
we have calmer seas and sunshine this morning! It was a tad bit cool for me,
but I did wear some layers and walk the track. It really felt good to be
outside again!
Neither
of us won at Bingo, but both got close a lot. After Bingo we went to lunch in
the dining room and again, we had very slow service. Our table was the last to
leave.
This
afternoon I should get all of the photo albums uploaded since we still have
good cell coverage since we are so close to shore and the hotspot works great.
OK, it is quite slow, I may need to wait until tonight when we are docked.
We
are projected to dock in Auckland this evening around 8:30. Still not clear if
we will be able to get off the ship or we have to wait until tomorrow morning.
We
met with Charles after dinner tonight to give him the photos & video we had
of them. He is working on making arrangements to get he & Judy home. He is
leaving many of his things behind as he prepared for a 111 day cruise and it
isn’t worth paying to ship home sunscreen, snorkel gear and other items. My
heart sure goes out to him.
We
made port at 8:30 tonight after a beautiful sail in.

We were able to go ashore tonight, so Greg & I went in search of the gelato place we liked so much last time. It was gone, but we found another one that was very good. We will return tomorrow after our tour.

Now to work on our day in Auckland. We did an eco tour, so lots of photos to wade through.
