Sea Day – February 17

I skipped walking this morning. It was really cold and windy out. Plus, I was a bit wiped out from the early mornings. I got the blog updated and I still need to work on photos.

We got a letter saying our time to meet with immigration is 11:10. We need to get off as soon as possible because we have a bird guide waiting for us. So, we will go down early and just get in line. (it has worked in the past) We are being treated like we have no plans and are staying on the ship. The front desk was no help. We are now arriving at 9:45 instead of 6:00. Not sure why Princess changed that before we got on the ship. We have always arrived early here. Ah well, it is what it is…..

Greg won $50 in Bingo today. I got down to one number on the last Bingo on 2 cards and still didn’t win. One person even called a Bongo (when you call Bingo, but don’t have one) so we kept playing and I still didn’t win. Tomorrow, there are 2 sessions since the big pot has to go since it’s the end of the segment.

We ate lunch upstairs for the Oriental Buffet. Meh.

We had a relaxing afternoon in the cabin.

Tonight, was another formal night since it’s a going away for the people ending their cruise in Sydney. Since Roy & Rondi don’t come to the formal nights in the dining room it was just us again. We will probably get 2 more people that board in Sydney for our table of 6.

The production show tonight was another new one called Limelight. They did Broadway songs, but more obscure ones. They did Pricilla Queen of the Desert which I was looking forward to, but the female lead made the songs almost unrecognizable.

The game show tonight was The Top Ten of Everything. We didn’t do very well. Lots of it was just guessing, but some actually made sense.
