Sea Day – February 13

Sea Day – February 13

It was cool and windy this morning and walking the track was a challenge with the wind.

Greg won 2 games of Bingo today. He won the 2nd and 3rd games for a total of $90.00. We both were down to one number on the one game, but his number got called. I think he stole my bingo. LOL (better him than someone else)

Another person we “knew” was taken off the ship today. An announcement was made that they had planned for a helicopter to take them off, but when one was not available, they got a coast guard boat to take them off. The pool deck had been cleared of all chairs etc. and all forward cabins also had to have their balcony furniture removed. The Captain said it would not interfere with our shore days schedules. We had heard there was someone that had a stroke, but I’m sure they got off yesterday. Not sure what this one was.

During dinner we slowed to a stop for the evacuation.

The show tonight was an Australian group called Beehive who sang songs from the 60’s. It was a bit “off”, but a fun show, none-the-less.

After the show we went up and watched the game show The Liars Club. Always a fun one to guess which one is telling the truth about the definition to bizarre words.

Just one more sea day before we have 2 more New Zealand ports in a row.
